Oh, and don't mention the car insurance...
Living in 2005, however, means that there is a market for almost everything, so he dreamed up this idea:
You have the opportunity to destroy my mint condition dodge viper….piece by piece...with video and pictures you will be able to see the damage updated constantly. Advertisers are allowed to pick and choose what, when where and how the damage is to be done. So we will see who really are the most creative advertisers out there.
For as little as US$100, you get a small ad-space on his site and a 6" key mark on his Viper; for US$500, a bigger ad on his site and a hole can be drilled into any part of the car...etc...etc...So far, the only interesting thing on the site is a bit of cleavage (sex and fast cars, how 80s!!!), and only one little ad-square has been sold - follow this insanely post-modern event at SmashMyViper.com.
It looks like he has sold 400 pixels now...
Also, after reading the blog and FAQ, it looks like he's actually trying to raise money to start his own bar business.
