A German museum is offering art appreciation lessons to Frankfurt's sanitation workers, after garbage collectors lugged away a public art sculpture recently and sent it to the incinerator.
I believe you are wrong, modern art has plenty to be appreciated. yes Monnet and Turner are good, but the brilliance of the moving textures makes me believe modern art is worthwhile. see the moving texture by the bodges, i'm sure you'll change your mind

I think you might have found what`s been confounding the critics for about a hundred years. Basically, leave a work of art outside a building for a week and if it`s stolen before the bin men get it it`s worthy of a second look. Perhaps if they left an explanation by the artist of what it means to us ordinary mortals even more would be carted away. Modern art is pop music for stupid collectors. There are a few talented individuals. Even pop music has that.
