The Journal of the Hayek Society at the London School of Economics
CALL FOR PAPERS 2007
The Hayek Society is seeking submissions for future editions of our respected journal Ama-Gi. We are interested in any papers that contribute to cultured debate about free markets, spontaneous order, and classical liberalism. Articles should be under five thousand words and written for the general reader. The deadline for the next edition is 30th March 2007
We are especially interested in items relevant for a special edition on:
The Fatal Conceit: Privatised
Although Hayek’s critique of central planning for an economy as a whole is well known, his insights can also be applied large organisations. We look at the theoretical frameworks required to extend The Fatal Conceit into firms, as well as the related issue of rationality.
Recent contributors include Walter Block, Peter Boettke, Bruce Caldwell, Richard Epstein, and Joseph Stiglitz. Book reviews are welcome.
