I doubt there'll be two better books on politics this year. I'll post lengthy reviews of each in due course, but it's already clear that they're both must-read: well written; insightful; and spanning the political spectrum.

If everyone judges the one on the right by its cover, it'll do v well. As for Master Dillowbert's: the standard he maintains in his blog, on his tod, is bloody impressive. If the book comes close, it deserves to do well. But economics isn't about deserts, is it?
