Brian: Are you seriously trying to say that a flat tax doesn't just benefit the wealthy?
Stewie: ...the reduction in complexity will reduce evasion and lead to an increase in productivity which is blindingly obvious to anyone that isn't a MORON
That was from "Stu and Stewie's Excellent Adventure", and I can't find any reference so i've had to work from memory. For another look at the issue, Alvin Rabushka appears on the Econtalk podcast, plus my comparative analysis of the spread of the flat tax in Eastern Europe has been accepted by the Journal of Eastern European Economics.
...so the real problem with the flat tax is that all the rich would-be tax evaders and avoiders will leave the country?

Brian - you're really going to sit there with a straight face and tell me a flat tax doesn't just favour the wealthy?
Stewie - not one bit. and it saves millions of man hours the complexity of the current tax code wastes, which you would realise if you weren't retarded
